Retained search

This is a priority search service typically utilized for higher level executive positions a client needs filled urgently, has a niched job specification or requires a candidate to relocate. A deposit is provided which ensures dedicated resources are committed by us to the search and that the search is prioritized by us over all of our non-deposit assignments. 

 A Retained search demonstrates mutual commitment to filling the position by the client AND us and is a close, collaborative engagement with direct access to the hiring executives. These assignments may take several months and require exhaustive, continual efforts. These searches will develop and engage hard to find, unique candidates for our client.

 

Staffing services

We also provide temporary employees in a wide variety of positions. These include Project Managers, IT specialists, Accounting/Finance folks, various positions within specialty insurance such as actuaries, underwriters, product development, pricing or compliance areas. We provide a turnkey payrolling solution, background checks, insurance, health benefits and the proper tax treatment that ensure our client AND the contract worker are fully compliant with the latest government requirements for temporary workers. 

contingent search

These searches have no deposit from the client and are an indicator of lower urgency, lower commitment by the client. As a result, we’re careful to manage our invested time and effort on these searches as the client has declined to formally engage us with a deposit. Our risk is spending weeks of effort, paying our researchers salaries and the possibility of the client cancelling the search at any point. These searches take a second row to our Retained searches due to the distinction between having a deposit that drives priority versus no deposit and therefore no commitment. These searches primarily utilize our candidate database and network and don’t go to the exhaustive levels of a retained search. 

 

Contracted Recruiting

Occasionally a company in growth mode needs to augment its internal recruiting efforts with an outside recruiting resource. We provide these services by dedicating a seasoned recruiter to work closely with the talent acquisition team. Our recruiter integrates seamlessly with yours, can have access (if desired) to your recruiting platform, participate in internal recruiting discussions, interact directly with your hiring executives, learning the nuances of your culture, ideal candidate profiles and all other relevant information, making them a deeply integrated member of your team.

These engagements are typically between 3-12 months and are tailored based on expected / agreed upon hours weekly, numbers of hires etc. and are tied to a flat monthly fee paid to us by the client. This service saves a client the recruiter fees that are incurred when a candidate is hired, rather the flat monthly fee is the only fee the client pays, regardless of how many candidates are hired.  It’s also attractive due to incurring no long-term commitment to the contractor, no heath nor other benefit costs etc.
